INTERFERENCE

TRUEB explores a digital technology that allows them to generate holographic images in real time and presents them in the form of an audiovisual installation.

INTERFERENCE is arranged as a wall, constructed from bicycle rims, which are equipped with hologram displays. The idea was to play with disruption and intervention in existing structures. The audience is invited to break their patterns of perception and engage with the visual and auditory experience.

From the very beginning it was clear that INTERFERENCE should present a broad spectrum of audiovisual art. For this purpose, the media artists Marian Essl (MONOCOLOR) and Thomas Kostner (TOKAMU) were invited to perform on this special form of a display.

INTERFERENCE initially debuted as part of the munich creative business week (mcbw) 2023 and was sponsored by bayern design and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
